of you may know Dimension/Polyant, (DP) Sailcloth, the Worlds
largest sailcloth manufacturer has purchased the D4 sailmaking
process. While this may seem like a big change, we at Doyle
Boston Sailmakers can assure you that nothing will change
for you our valued customers.
For those of you that have used Doyle Boston
Designed and manufactured D4 sails over the last 6 years you
will find that nothing has changed. In fact this newest development
reinforces what we have been preaching and what you already
know, D4 sails are the best load path sails on the market.
DP has both the resources and wherewithal to
either start from scratch or purchase any process available
and they chose D4. DP will now be able to take D4 to the next
level, a level that Fraser Sails could not achieve. So your
D4 sails will continue to get better and more new and exciting
fibers will be sure to follow!
For Doyle Boston Sailmakers and our customers
we will continue to offer you excellent service, affordable
pricing and of course extremely fast sails! We will continue
to support and sell the D4 process and look forward to the
new relationship with DP on this process.
For our One Design customers be assure that
while the other loft down the street can buy the D4 process
they cannot and will not buy the Doyle Boston shapes and service
that you have become accustom to.
